Plain terms for a free site: use the tools for anything lawful, but check the numbers before you rely on them for a decision that matters.
You may use every tool, guide and answer page on SnoopTool free of charge, for personal or commercial purposes, without an account and without attribution. In exchange, you accept that the site is provided as is: the calculations are illustrative, they are not financial, tax, medical or legal advice, and you are responsible for verifying any number before you act on it.

- Use any tool, for personal or commercial work, as often as you like.
- Use the output — a compressed image, a formatted JSON file, an EMI figure — however you wish. It is yours.
- Link to any page here, including deep links to individual tools and answers.
- Quote a passage with a link back to the page it came from.
What you may not do
- Automate bulk requests against the site, scrape it at scale, or run load tests against it. Rate limiting is in force and abusive clients are blocked.
- Republish whole pages or the tool code as your own product.
- Use the site to process content that is unlawful where you are.
- Attempt to breach, probe or interfere with the site's security or availability.
Accuracy and the limits of it
Every calculation is produced from the formula shown on the page, and each answer page states the assumptions behind it. But rates change, laws change, and an assumption that is reasonable today may not be tomorrow. In particular:
- Tax figures use the slab rates in force for FY 2026-27 and assume a resident individual with no special-rate income. Your actual liability depends on facts we do not have.
- Investment projections use an assumed rate of return. Market-linked returns are not guaranteed and can be negative.
- Loan figures exclude processing fees, insurance and GST unless the page says otherwise, so your bank's number will differ.
- Health figures such as BMI and calorie estimates are population-level screens, not a diagnosis.
Check anything material with a qualified professional and with the institution you are dealing with.
Availability
SnoopTool is a free service with no uptime commitment. We may change, move or withdraw any tool or page at any time. If a URL you depend on stops working, tell us and we will usually redirect it.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnoopTool and ZoopCoder are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including loss arising from reliance on a calculated figure. Because the tools run in your browser and we never receive your files, we cannot be liable for their loss either — keep your own copies.
